How to recover your PIN code?
Unless you have changed it, the default PIN code is 0000.
If you have changed your PIN code but forgotten your new code, the operator will not be able to forward it to you as it is a secret code created by you alone.
You must then create a new PIN code by entering an incorrect PIN code 3 times in a row.
The SIM card will be automatically blocked after the 3rd attempt. To unblock it, you must enter the PUK code that is written on the card holder which will enable a new PIN code to be generated.
Note: It is advisable to write down your PIN and keep it safe incase you have forgotten.
How to recover your PUK code?
The PUK code is available from various sources of contact and support:
1. By checking the card to which your SIM card was originally attached (if you have kept it safe)
You can find the PUK code on the card to which your SIM card was originally attached.
2. By calling Customer Services
You can contact Customer Services on the following number: 111 (toll free)
If your mobile displays "PUK":
Your mobile's SIM card is now unblocked and your PIN code has been changed.
If your mobile does not display "PUK":
Bring up the phone's keyboard on the screen and enter the following sequence of keystrokes:
**05*PUK*new PIN code (between 4 and 8 figures)*new PIN code#
Your mobile's SIM card is now unblocked and your PIN code has been changed.
Note: If you input PUK code incorrectly 10 times, your SIM card will become completely disabled. You will have to obtain a new SIM card to gain access to Orange services from your mobile.
