T&C

1) The data credit transfer service is only available to 4G and 4G+ LTE mobile subscribers.

Data credit transfer from a 4G mobile subscriber to a 2G mobile subscriber is not allowed. If a 4G mobile subscriber tries to transfer data credits to a 2G mobile subscriber, he/she will receive
the following USSD message:
The requested data credit transfer has not been processed. Data credit transfers are not allowed to 2G subscribers.

2) To use the data credit transfer service, a 4G mobile user needs to have an active 4G data pack.

Please note free promotional data bundles and employees free data bundles are excluded from the data credit transfer service.
If a subscriber tries to make a data transfer and doesn’t have an active data pack, he/she will
receive the following USSD message:
The requested data credit transfer has not been processed. You don’t have an active data pack.
To buy one dial *474# and try again.

3) Daily Maximum number of transfers

A 4G subscriber can make up to three data credit transfers per day (a day runs from midnight to the next day midnight). If a subscriber tries to make a fourth transfer, he/she will receive the following USSD message:

The requested data credit transfer has not been processed. You have reached the maximum of 3 data credit transfers allowed per day. Try again later or tomorrow.

4) Daily maximum amount of data credit transferred

A 4G subscriber can transfer up to 1GB per day. If a subscriber initiates a data transfer that will go over the limit, he/she will receive the following USSD message:

The requested data credit transfer has not been processed. It will exceed the daily maximum transfer limit of 1GB. Try to transfer a smaller amount of data.

5) Minimum and maximum amount of data credit transfer

The minimum amount of data that a 4G subscriber can transfer in one transaction is 5MB. The maximum amount of data that a 4G subscriber can transfer in one transaction is 500MB. If a subscriber tries to transfer an amount of data outside of the above levels, he/she will receive the following USSD message:

The requested data credit transfer has not been processed. The amount of data to be transferred is not in the range between 5 & 500MB

6) The expiry date of the data credits transferred

The expiry date of the data credits transferred is the same as the expiry date of the data pack of the donor.

Example: Subscriber 0777 777 608 has an Extreme data pack that expires on 16/05/2013. This subscriber Transfers 500MB to subscriber 0777 000 022. The expiry date of the 500MB data credits transferred will be 16/05/2013.

In the case of multiple data transfers received by one subscriber, it is the expiry date that is the longest that will apply to the data transferred.

Example: 0777 7777 608 received the following 3 data transfers

  1. 500MB with an expiry date of 15/05/2013
  2. 200MB with an expiry date of 13/05/2013
  3. 500MB with an expiry date of 19/05/2013
