What a day it was at the Orange Social Venture Prize 2026!
There’s something special about watching people stand in front of a room, take a deep breath, and say, “This is the idea I believe can make a difference.”
That’s exactly what happened at this year’s OSVP National Pitching Ceremony.
Entrepreneurs from across Liberia stepped up to pitch their ideas, share the problems they’re solving, and give us a glimpse into the future they’re working to create. And honestly? There was no shortage of creativity, passion, and big ideas in the room.
From the first pitch to the final announcement, every participant brought something different to the table. Some ideas challenged the way we think. Others tackled everyday problems with fresh solutions. But behind every pitch was a person who had decided to take an idea and actually do something with it.
And that’s what makes the Orange Social Venture Prize so exciting.
And the winners are…
After an exciting round of pitches, four entrepreneurs walked away with prizes for their outstanding ideas.
1st Prize – TUZEE EN AFRICA — $3,000
2nd Prize – EYE LIBERIA — $2,000
3rd Prize – VISEMPRO — $1,500
Women’s Prize – MANUROE NATURE SOAP — $500

But beyond the prizes, we’re celebrating every single person who stepped up to pitch.
Because putting your idea out there takes courage. Building something from scratch takes even more. And believing in that idea enough to stand in front of a room and say “this is what I’m building”? That deserves its own applause.
The journey doesn’t end here
If there’s one thing OSVP26 reminded us, it’s that Liberia is full of people with ideas worth listening to, and ideas worth building.
The entrepreneurs we met are not just dreaming about a better future; they’re working on it, one solution at a time.
